Billy Barman band and Dievčatá zo SĽUK-u are having a tour together called Potichu. A special acoustic tour will have six stops in Slovakia and two in Czechia, to Prague they will come on 16th April.
“We have put together a special musical body based purely on acoustic instruments and beautiful voices of the SĽUK girls. We are close to folk and mountains and often they help us with writing lyrics” says the singer Juraj Podmanický about the nontraditional partnership.
Putting the two bands together was originally an idea for a festival Tatra Flowers where they played a concert in Tery’s cottage.
After receiving some positive feedback the band decided to put together a program and leave for a spring tour. There will be one concert during which the bands will take turns and also merge for a few songs.
The band Billy Barman was founded in 2008 and their album are Noční jazdci (2010), Modrý jazyk (2013) and Dýchajúce obrazy (2016). They have received a few Radio_Head Awards, the last one for the Album of 2016.
