The Vítkovo Quartet, originally named Vítkovo částečně odvážné rockové kvarteto (Vítkovo Partially Bold Rock Quartet), is a group of—to put it mildly—avant-garde musicians with a colorful history: From the U Holečků pub in Chuchle, where the band rehearsed in the 1980s (and where a significant portion of their immortal hits, such as Pražský démon, were created), through the arrival of Ota Petřina and Zdeněk Juračka (whose collaboration resulted in the album Veteráni studené války), to today’s lineup. The unforgettable Social Evenings of Friends of the Vítkov Quartet and Štvanice na alkohol (Storming Alcohol), in which we demonstrated our relationship to this scourge of humanity, also entered the public consciousness.Those who have not played with Vítkáči are as if they did not exist.

Our ensemble is often supplemented by choir members and strange guests, and you, our listeners, are also an integral part of it. If the ensemble is too tired, you can finish the concert yourselves.

In 2025, a historic event will take place – the release of our second studio album, thirty years after the first. And on this occasion, we are setting off on an endless tour called: PER TO DO MĚ, AŤ JE PO MNĚ (DO IT FOR ME, LET IT BE OVER).
