The band Suicidal Tendencies from California is coming to Prague! They will perform on the 2nd of June in the Lucerna Music Bar. Tickets for the concert organized by Rock For People are available at GoOut.cz and musicbar.cz.
Judging from their name, Suicidal Tendencies were never afraid of a little controversy. Formed in Venice, CA, during the early ’80s, the group’s leader from the beginning was outspoken vocalist Mike Muir. The outfit specialized in vicious hardcore early on — building a huge following among skateboarders, lending a major hand in the creation of skatepunk — before turning their focus eventually to thrash metal.
They released 12 albums and compilations. The song Possessed to Skate from the 80s, became the hymn of skatepunk.
Only one month before the Rock For People Festival it will be hardcore! Come and don’t forget your scarves!
