One of the most influential and respected drummers not only in the jazz sphere is bringing his solo project to Prague with bassist Michael Leagu from Snarky Puppy.

Nate Smith is a drummer whose sound is as unique as the musical journey he has been on, learning from the greats as a collaborator and partner before embarking on pioneering solo projects as a protagonist. Although Smith is best known for his jazz work, he has never completely abandoned the influences of funk and urban music that shaped him and that are indicative of his inquisitive and open musical mind. He comes to the Prague Sounds festival with a trio that includes bassist Michael League, the bandleader of Snarky Puppy.
