Since 2007 LIONHEART have earned the status of one of the hardest and most authentic names on the world hardcore scene. Their debut “The Will To Survive” set the bar high and the band has only pushed it higher with each successive album – “Built On Struggle” (2010), “Undisputed” (2012), “Welcome To The Westcoast” (2014) and more have delivered a blast of pure aggression that is smashing stages around the world. After two years of relentless touring, LIONHEART have returned with their hardest hitting album to date, “Valley of Death”. A combination of crushing riffs, uncompromising groove and Rob Watson serving up lyrics full of anger, pain and determination to survive.
American NYHC legend Madball will be the main support! Since 1988, they have been known worldwide for their authentic sound that combines hardcore punk with elements of metal, uncompromising energy and a dedication to hardcore values. Their music is the voice of urban youth, bringing raw power and about unity and resistance. They have several iconic albums to their credit, led by Set It Off (1994), Demonstrating My Style (1996) and Look My Way (1998).
The concert will also feature the American metalcore band Gideon, originally from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Since 2008 they have been spreading their energetic work based on hard breakdowns, elements of nu-metal, beatdown hardcore and traditional metalcore. The roster is rounded out by German crossover crew Slope, whose work mixes an explosive blend of funk, hardcore punk and hip-hop. Their work is influenced by bands like the Beastie Boys, Rage Against The Machine and the early Red Hot Chili Peppers.
