Lucerna Music Bar is welcoming 18th of May the American blues singer and guitarist Kenny Wayne Shepherd. He is returning to Prague after 2 years, invited by the festival United Islands. This unique artist represents the modern blues. He learned the instrument from the early childhood and already with 12 he was called a wunderkind. Born in Louisiana, his roots are in blues, but he is mixing to it energetic rock. Shepherd released 6 records. The documentary “10 Days Out: Blues From The Backroads”, where Shepherd is going back to the legends of this genre like BB.King, Herny Townsend, Neal Pattman, won many prices. Also his live album Live! In Chicago, where he plays with Bryan Lee, was nominated for the Grammy.
