Currents, who are currently setting the tone for post-metalcore, and ERRA, pioneers of progressive metalcore, are embarking on a joint “The Silence Follows” tour! They’ll be bringing new material from their discographies to Lucerna Music Bar on November 21. They’ll be joined by Caskets and Aviana.

The history of the American band Currents dates back to 2011, though singer Brian Wille didn’t join until 2015. Since then, they’ve released a number of albums, including *The Place I Feel Safest* (2017), the EP *I Let The Devil In* (2018), *The Way It Ends* (2020), and *The Death We Seek* (2023). Throughout their career, they have shared the stage with stars such as Parkway Drive, Beartooth, Ice Nine Kills, and We Came As Romans.

In November, they’ll be coming to Prague with their latest EP, All That Follows (2025), which balances extreme heaviness with haunting melodies. Chillingly electrifying tones cut through an aggressive groove, interspersed with ethereal arpeggios and sparkling harmonies. “Locked in isolation, thrown away. This is my severance,” they sing in the chorus of the song “My Severance.”

The five-piece band ERRA, founded in 2009, has always built its music on contrast. Their seventh album, *silence outlives the earth* (2026), with which they will arrive to meet their Czech fans, explores what it’s like to exist between two worlds. The contemplative atmosphere of the songs blends perfectly with mystical, ethereal passages.
