Etana, the biggest female voice of contemporary Jamaican reggae in the last two decades, is coming to Prague! Etana has released eight studio albums since her debut The Strong One in 2006, two of which were nominated for Grammy’s Reggae Record of the Year (2018’s Reggae Forever and 2021’s Pamoja). Names such as Damian Marley, Marcia Griffiths, Stonebwoy, Vybz Kartel, Patrice, and even Italy’s Alborosie, who only came to prominence in Jamaica as a guest on Etana Blessings’ song, have collaborated on her great music, which alongside reggae vocally perfectly encompasses cutting-edge soul, pop, dancehall, and afrobeats.

Moreover, Etana will arrive in the Czech Republic with her brand new album Nectar of the Gods, which will be released in July and is one of the most anticipated releases in the reggae world. The tracklist is already out, so we know that it features guest appearances by West African superstar Shatta Whale, British-Jamaican singer Randy Valentine, Jamaican icons Big Youth and Bugle, and JonFX, who has collaborated with Akon, among others. This concert will fundamentally broaden your horizons and introduce you to a singer unmatched in Jamaica or the Caribbean. She will come to Prague with her Reggae Street band and you have the unique opportunity to celebrate freedom in the company of this Caribbean diva on 17 November 2024 at Lucerna Music Bar.
