Daniel Seavey is an American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist who first gained national attention as the youngest finalist on Season 14 of American Idol in 2015. Shortly after, he co-founded the successful boyband Why Don’t We, releasing two charting albums and touring extensively before the group went on hiatus in 2022.

Since launching his solo career, Seavey has released multiple singles and EPs, including his debut album Second Wind in 2025. Known for playing over 20 instruments and producing much of his own music, his sound blends pop with acoustic and electronic elements, marked by emotionally honest lyrics about growing up, love, and self-discovery.
