Daniel Norgren is a Swedish musician who has won over audiences around the world with his raw, emotive music that straddles blues, folk and alternative rock. Born in 1983, he has prided himself on authenticity since the beginning of his career – his songs are imbued with melancholy, natural themes and deep feeling. He often records on analogue equipment, which gives his music a specific atmosphere. Norgren’s work draws inspiration from the American blues, but retains a Nordic melancholy. His best-known albums include Buck, Wooh Dang and Alabursy, which have won critical and fan acclaim. Although he avoids the mainstream, his live performances are riveting and full of raw energy.
