The legendary Ostrava band Buty is celebrating 40 years on the music scene! And we’re thrilled that they’re doing it right here at Lucerna Music Bar, with a two-night concert on November 13 and 14, 2027.

40 years of music, stories, and songs from a band that brought unmistakable poetry, perspective, and tracks like “Mám jednu ruku dlouhou,” “František,” and “Nad stádem koní.”

Since 1986, when they formed at the Český dům in Vítkovice, they have been among the most distinctive and unique acts in Czech music. Over their career, they have released eight studio albums, won numerous prestigious awards including the Český lev and Anděl awards, and composed music for acclaimed films. Led by Radek Pastrňák, Buty remains, even after 40 years, a band that belongs on stage. Their concerts are not merely nostalgic reminiscences—on the contrary, they are a lively, pulsating celebration of music, humor, poetry, and energy, which over the past forty years has earned a firm place on the Czech music scene and gained both respect and a loyal audience.
