Bára Hrzánová & Condurango will christen their new album in Lucerna Music Bar!

The band Condurango was founded in the early 1980s at DAMU by actress Bára Hrzánová and Pavel Anděl. Later on, Vladimír Kosík and Ivo Novák and in 1986 Miloš Šikola joined the band. Over time, the band expanded with young blood in the form of Antonín Holub, Matyáš Mejzr and Nicholas Roy Arthofer, as well as the legendary accordionist Mário Bihári. The music of Bára Hrzánová and Ivoš Novák resounds not only with Bára’s original lyrics, but also with the works of famous writers and poets from Lorca to Morgenstern and Tolkien to Otokar Březina. In 2023, Condurango returned to the music scene after a six-year hiatus in full force, with a new repertoire and an unmistakable energy that it gives out to listeners of all generations. During the concert they will christen the new CD and celebrate Bára’s 60th birthday and 40 years of Condurango’s existence – a beautiful 100 years with Bára Hrzánová.
