The band Balthazar from Belgium, which was here in November as a support for Editors, are coming back to the LMB. The young band has its own characteristic sound full of melodic pop rock and already big success in Belgium and the Netherlands: For their album Aplause they won the “best album of the year 2010”. Short after their concert in Prague they released their 2nd album Rats, which had already amazing response from the music critics.
“Most of contemporary pop productions sound too ‘noughties’”, Maarten shrugs; “There’s no depth. We’ve tried a different approach”.
