Be ready already this week for the Slovakian rapper Vec. 16 years after his first album, he is coming to the LMB to introduce you to his new album Stereo Farbo Slepo. And he won’t be alone. With him are coming the Champion Sound band, singer Skrup and Supa from Moja Rec. The evening is opening Homeboy Sandman. Are you asking yourself now, who he is? He is a rapper, who releases at the label Stones Throw. A label, which is owned by PB Wolf and Homeboy has as colleagues people like Aloe Blacc, Madlib, Guilty Simpson, J Dilla, Mayer Hawthorne, Oh No, MED, Karriem Riggins and many more.
The former law student got props in hip hop magazines like The Source and XXL, won the Best Hip Hop Act in NYC in 2008 and was present at festivals like Rock The Bells, South by Southwest (SXSW), Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival, A3C Hip Hop Festival in Atlanta, CMJ Music Marathon in New Yorku and Hip Hop Kemp in Hradec Kralove. Homeboy Sandman released in the past 6 years four albums and 3 EPs and will be with Vec on 21st of February on the stage of the LMB.
