Two major names in Jamaican music history are coming to Prague for the first time! The Abyssinians and Big Youth will perform together on May 24, 2026, at Lucerna Music Bar, presenting an evening that combines the roots of roots reggae, the spiritual depth of the Rastafarian tradition, and the pioneering energy of Jamaican toasting, which later gave rise to rap.
The joint performance of Big Youth and The Abyssinians, accompanied by a large Jamaican-French band, represents a truly unique opportunity to hear two different but interconnected branches of roots reggae.
In the context of the recent Burning Spear concert, this is another chapter in the collaboration between Lucerna and Jahmusic.cz in presenting the biggest names in reggae history in Prague.
