Thanks to their great shows, Che Sudaka have already many fans here. The band, established now in Barcelona, represents the top of music genre called mestizo, that combines influences of traditional cumbia, ska and punk. The roots of their music are also from a South American pop culture and legendary bands such as The Clash, Mano Negra or Los Fabulosos Cadillacs. The band members come from Argentina and Colombia and they turn each show into a wild party, exactly how we would expect it from the hot-blooded southerners.
The musicians were illegal migrants from the streets of Barcelona in the past, which is reflected in their socially critical lyrics, in which they defend the rights of the common people against the pressures of political systems or media.
