The Scottish band Primal Scream is coming on the 18th of November to Prague to present their new album More Light and just announced that their support band will be NiceLand from Prague. The front man Michal Motyčka we know from the competition Coca Cola Popstar, where he won in 2007 as a solo artist. As the winner he could perform at the Highfield festival, got contact to Sony Music and went on tour with the band Kryštof. A year later he released he debut album Little Black Book, which was produced by Yarda Helešic (ex-Support Lesbiens). His music combines the British sound with folklore, pop and rock and went straight to the top of the charts and got nominated for many prices (TV Óčko, Žebřík, Musicserver.cz).
The second single Lost In Encryption was 7 weeks in the top ten and was used as soundtrack in the film Ocas ještěrky, same as the single Where A Light Comes From. This song also came out at the compilation “Be careful!” for a benefit project Art For Life against HIV.
In 2010 NiceLand released his second album God Has Her Ways. It is different than the first album, more ambient and electro than heavy guitar lines.
The album was produced by an ex-member of the band Sunshine Amák Golden, the singer of Sunshine Kay Buriánek and The Prostitutes guitarist Martin Přikryl. In the song Laugh All You Want is featuring front man of Sunflower Caravan Andy Čermák. In two songs you can hear strings of the Czech Philharmonie.
