Fans of good punk can be happy: the legendary British punk band The Vibrators are coming back to Prague again! The guitarist and singer IAN “KNOX” CARNOCHAN, bas player PAT COLLIER, guitarist JOHN ELLIS and drummer EDDIE founded The Vibrators in the year 1976 and played for the first time public as a support for The Stranglers in the Hornsey Art College in London. They played as a support for The Sex Pistols and at the legendary festival 100 Club Punk Rock Festival. Their first single was “We vibrate”.
In their long carrier they released 19albums, they were on tour with artists like IGGY POP, IAN HUNTER, THE FLAMING GROOVIES, DIE TOTEN HOSEN and their songs were played by THE EXPLOITED, UK SUBS, GBH, REM, DIE TOTEN HOSEN.
The Vibrators are on stage already 40 years, but they are still full of power. In the year 2010 they played 130 shows!
For the concert on 29th of January in Lucerna Music Bar, they will bring great guests like Plexis and Dreadrot.
