The Qemists + N.O.H.A. at winter Rock for Churchill festival

Qemists Band 170x170The music festival Rock for Churchill surprises with a winter club edition, which is on the 20th of February in the LMB. As the headliners are coming the British electro band The Qemists and the multi-genre band N.O.H.A. Both bands are known for their energetic concerts, it is going to be hot in February! “The Qemists were at the Rock for Churchill festival this year in August, their show was amazing! They were the absolute winner in the poll after the festival, so we thought, we make our fans happy and bring them one more time to a more intimate atmosphere to the LMB”, says the organizer of the RfCH-festival Kamil Sir. The mix of live drum & bass and rock from The Qemists completes the live electro and world music of N.O.H.A.

THE Qemists are mixing such a live cocktail of drum & bass, rock and dubstep, that your head is spinning: Live drums, massive samples, guitars and two energetic MCs – for them every podium is too small. Have a look at the videos from the Woodstock festival in Poland and see for yourself. After few tries in the rock music world they switched to drum & bass, the rock influence is still hearable though. And after few singles (hit Stompbox included), they released their debut album “Join The Q” in 2008 (Ninja Tune records). Two years after that the released the LP “Spirit In The System”, and there is the rumor, that new songs are coming out soon. They didn’t miss the big festivals like Glastonbury, Przystanek Woodstock in Poland and many more.

N.O.H.A. has a very own style – a mix of drum & bass, world music, dup step and groove. Hits like Di Nero, Wanna Play and Tu Café were the tickets to the biggest European festivals like Eurospotting-Kopenhagen, Bourges Festival, Roots Festival-Amsterdam, Exit, Pohoda or Colours of Ostrava. The positive energy got in 2013 an increase: thanks to the new singer Kaia Brown (USA), who gives with her personality and live performance a new musical and visual dimension. N.O.H.A. released 6 studio albums already. The last one is Circus Underground and came out 1st of December 2012.

Tickets are available for 500,-CZK at Ticketpro, Ticketportal and Eventim, at the website of the LMB and at the cash desk of the LMB (without fee). At the door: 600,-CZK.
