Already next week is one of four November-concerts organized by AghaRTA Prague Jazz Festival, which will all be in the Lucerna Music Bar. Stanley Clarke is a legendary bass player and is coming already for the third time. The first time he was in Prague in 1995 with the trio Clarke / Meola / Ponty and for the second time in 2008 with Marcus Miller and Victor Wooton. This time Clarke is bringing with him two young musicians, the twenty-year old drummer Mike Mitchell and the 18-year old pianist Beka Gochiashvili.
Stanley Clarke is a very important person in the jazz scene, his two albums are legendary. More info about the solo album “UP” you can find here.
He worked very closely with Marcus Miller as a producer on the project dedicated to Georg Duke “Al Jarreou: My Old Friends”.
