After a longer time of silence, the Berlin pop duo Me And My Drummer is back. Their debut album The Hawk, The Beak, The Prey was released three years ago. On the 22nd of January is Charlotte Brandi together with Matze Pröllochs back in the Lucerna Music Bar to present their new album Love Is A Fridge.
Prague as a stop on their tour is a must. The reason? One of the songs of their new album is called Prague I & II. This song can represent the difference between the straight melodies of their debut and the more colorful and fresh sound of the upcoming album. You will hear chances in the rhythm, a great instrumentation and inspiration in rhythm’n’blues and Indian gamelan. In the first single Blue Splinter View you will hear a rock sound, but this is just one color of their palette, which Me And My Drummer prepared for us.
As a special guest is another duo playing, the Czech band Sundays On Clarendon Road. They played already at Colours of Ostrava.
Support will be Tristan Brusch, also a musician from Berlin.
