Asian Dub Foundation are back with a new album, which they recorded in their original set up with DR Das (bass), Rocky Singh (drumms), Ghetto Priest (vocals) and with the new member Fluteboxer Lee (flute & beatbox). They will perform on the 5th of November to the Lucerna Music Bar.
The new album is called More Signal More Noise and was released on the 10th of July. The new songs were recorded in 3 days and in another 3 days they were mixed. This explains the hectic, but concentrated chaotic atmosphere on the album. The band recorded like they were live on stage, no preparing before and everything recorded nearly on first try.
Asian Dub Foundation came together in 1993. Their music is inspired by dub, ragga-jungle, electro and indie-music. Even they are already 20 years on stage, they showed on the Rock for Churchill festival, how great their energy still is.
The evening will be accompanied by DJ Yukimura. You can look forward to electronic and dub music with Asian essence. Here you have an example from the production with one of the vocalist of ADF, Ghetto Priest.
The concert is one of the 20th anniversary series concerts.
