The AghaRTA Jazz Festival is bringing in spring 6 great bands to Prague! The biggest name of this traditional jazz festival is the American drummer and singer Sheila E. She will be in Prague for the very first time.
12. 2. 2015 – Straight No Chaser / USA
Forget everything you think about a male choir – no blue jackets and national songs in the student dormitory.
Straight No Chaser (SNC) is everything else. They are cool, they have a massive fan base, television appearance and successful albums. They are on HAPPY HOUT TOUR after releasing their 4th album. The album is full of great hits, e.g. from Jason Mraz, Rob Thomas, Phil Collins, Dolly Parton and many more.
Their concert is a live experience.
17. 3. Scott Bradlee & Postmodern Jukebox / USA
Sold out concert halls, tons of clicks on their funny video clips and an extended European tour shows the success, which Scott Bradlee and his Postmodern Jukebox has.

31. 3. Sheila E. / USA
That drummer and singer Sheila E. is an amazing artist knows for example Prince and many others, who take her on tour. Look at her performance in the famous American talk show, or at the performance with Carlos Santana and you will see what to expect from her great show in the end of March. Shelia E and her band will not only present the latest album Icon, but also hits like I love Bizzare and Glamorous Live.
20. 4. Mike Stern Band / USA
After a little break is the guitarist Mike Stern coming back to the LMB. To the long list of exquisite musicians he played with are coming 3 more names: Randy Breckera (Trumpet), drummer Seve Smith and bass guitarist Janek Gwizdala, who is a know artist at the New York jazz scene.
30. 4. Maceo Parker / USA
It is unbelievable, that this will be the 21st show of Marceo Parker in Prague. The first show was in 1995. Maceo and his band never disappointed and also this time it will be a great show.
7. 5. The Dave Weckl Acoustic Band / USA
He just released his second album, after a long European tour.
