Great news for fans of local alternative music scene! Czech synth-pop stars, Deaths, are coming back from their temporary Berlin shelter to support the Australian four-piece Cut Copy! Their show is taking place at Lucerna Music Bar as part of Excelent Jukebox concert series on April 21. You can get tickets at Ticketpro. Deaths is a one man project of the extraordinarily talented composer and producer Igor Bruso, the author of hits such as Crystal Nights or Karaoke Blues. Born in Kamchatka, since 12 living in Prague, Bruso also devoted his professional life to fashion photography and film direction. Apart from directing all videos for Deaths, he has also shot movies for Swan Bride or Charlie Straight. The project reached another stage after Bruso moved to Berlin in autumn 2013: it was where he met Italian guitarist Marco Blarzino, Japanese sound experimentator Yaz Uemura, and together with Slovak drummer Tomáš Hribik they are now working on a debut EP.

Melbourne-born Cut Copy have been touring tirelessly since the beginning of March, having performed at some of the biggest venues as well as the acclaimed SXSW, followed by Sasquatch or Barcelona’s Primavera. Their latest video for We Are Explorers has been released, elaborated with 3D printing technique. You can download an open source code and 3D-print out Cut Copy figurines yourself.
