The American project Chrome will release a new album Feel It Like A Scientist in spring and is going with it in May and June on European tour. We are very excited to welcome them for the first time also in Prague, be ready on the 9th of June! Founded by composer Helios Creed and multi-instrumentalist Damon Edge in the 70s in San Francisco, Chrome took part of their inspiration for their rough and sometimes chaotic music from punk pioneers like The Stooges. The sound of the group was often coarse and featured heavy elements of feedback and distortion. Their experiments in mixing synthesized noise with rock instrumentation have been cited as a forerunner of industrial rock music. Very known are the records „Half Machine Lip Moves“ and „3rd From The Sun“ from 1982. Fans of Chrome are for example NIN, Ministry, Butthole Surfers, Sonic Youth, Nirvana and MGMT.
