Already on Thursday is a great winter party coming up, the winter club edition of the music festival Rock for Churchill. You can look forward to the British The Qemists and the international band N.O.H.A. The after party is taking care of the Djs Pixie & Suki. The Qemists are coming with brand new songs, which they are presenting for the very first time here in the LMB in Prague. They are right now finishing their 3rd album, which will be released this year on the famous label Ninja Tune. The Qemists are also on this album mixing such a live cocktail of drum & bass, rock and dubstep, that your head is spinning: you can hear on their first single No More the live drums, massive samples, guitars and two energetic MCs – for them every podium is too small.
Also N.O.H.A. are full of energy – a mix of drum & bass, world music, dup step and groove. This week they released the new video clip to their successful single Di Nero, which was released on the album Circus Underground (2012). Produced was the song by head of the band Philip Noha and the singer is the very nice singer Kaia Brown, who brought in 2013 new wind to the band. She started her carrier in New York, where she was recording with the dub legend Dr Israel. She works regularly with great artists like Kush Arora, Dub Gabriel, Chad Jones Process Rebel and many more. N.O.H.A. is planning a new album for 2015 and we are looking forward to hear already few new songs in the LMB!

The festival Rock for Churchill will be on the 29th and 30th of August 2014. We are working already very much on the program for the 15th anniversary, so far we have confirmed: The electro swing stars The Parov Stelar Band, the British Dub Pistols and Dreadzone. There will also be Czech bands: J.A.R., Vypsanou fixu, Visací zámek, Fast Food Orchestra and Hentai Corporation.
