At the end of September, Prague will have a unique opportunity to experience authentic Mongolian hip hop! The guys from Mad Suey Records—some of the best-known figures on the local scene—are coming to Lucerna. Their modern rap sound, influenced by trap, has long made a significant mark on the contemporary Mongolian music scene. The group is led by rapper B Tamir (Tamir Mad Suey), whose biggest hits include the tracks “Mad Suey,” “3030,” “ChiTown,” and “MAD.” Joining him will be producer Madb1shrel (b1shrel), who is responsible for the solid beats that have defined the musical identity of the label’s productions. And the third rapping musketeer, Hoidaav—who works closely with Mad Suey—will be there as well.
