Vitality and intensity with elements of Celtic melodies. That’s exactly what the Český Srdce concert at Lucerna Music Bar will offer, where the band is also planning a surprise in the form of the debut of new material.

České Srdce was formed in 1989 and has released seven studio albums and two DVDs over the course of its career. Among their best-known songs are “Srdce z Avalonu” and “Bosou nohou žárem,” a duet with Lucie Bílá.

They’ve also performed around 300 concerts abroad, primarily in Brittany, France, where their unique blend of rock and Celtic music has earned them a large following. It was there, in 1991, that they received an award for originality at the Quimper Festival. Their success was further cemented by a collaboration with Alan Stivell, one of the most prominent figures in Celtic music.

České Srdce is currently finishing up its eighth album, which—or at least part of it—will be unveiled during their concert at the Lucerna Music Bar. There will also be some interesting musical guests.
