Skyline will celebrate release of their new album

The popular electronic band Skyline, led by Jakub Bina, is going on an autumn tour. The list includes Brno, Pilsen, Decin, Hradec Kralove, Liberec and more. The tour is for the new album and the release party is scheduled for November 7 at Lucerna Music Bar.

Skyline’s ninth album is titled Superpowers and was released in early September. It took the band two years to work on the album, and the members can’t wait to finally play the new songs live for their fans. Jakub Bína says: “I think our new album will have a fantastic response in the clubs. It’s a lot about club music, we have a lot more dance sound than on previous records – mainly drum and bass.”

“In the live set, of course, we won’t forget the most essential songs from the older repertoire that fans love the most. We have already played four singles from the new album at summer festivals and we will add a few more in the autumn,” adds Radek Bureš, the band’s founder and drummer. “People reacted well to the new songs at festivals, we are happy about that. There are several songs on the album that could – figuratively speaking – tear the roof off the clubs live,” adds Radek Bureš.

The club tour is all about the close contact between the band and the audience. “To support the whole show, we bring our own lights and equipment to make it as beautiful as possible. Just a full setup, as our lighting designer Ondřej Burián says. We’ll cram as much as we can into the clubs,” Jakub Bína is looking forward to it.
