The multi-talented Emma Smetana is releasing her debut album What I’ve Done in March at Warner Music. Emma has been singing and playing the piano since her childhood. She already supported Goran Bregovic and Zaz. Until now, she was mostly known as an actor, television anchor and musical star.

As a musician, she is not only working with producer Jiří Burian (Southpaw, Republic of Two), but also with her life partner, actor and singer Jordan Haj (Peter Pan Complex). Bass is played by Michell Schich (Sunflower Caravan), piano by Adam Novotny (The Spankers) and drums by Mates (Nano) and Oskar Pilar (Peter Pan Complex). The songs on the album are in English and French.
The first single “Waiting” was already released in December 2015 and the music video that goes with it is nominated for the Czech award Anděl in the category “best videoclip”.

The repertoire of Emma Smetana offers great modern pop, like you can find at Lana del Rey, Adele or Amy Winehouse, combined with old rhythms, blues and immortal melodies of The Beatles.
