British trio The Subways are celebrating 20 years since the release of their breakthrough debut Young For Eternity, which launched them onto the world’s biggest stages back in 2005. Their explosive mix of guitar-driven indie rock, unmistakable dual vocals and raw live energy quickly made them festival favorites – from Glastonbury to Rock am Ring to Lollapalooza. They cemented their place in music history with the iconic hit Rock & Roll Queen, featured in Guy Ritchie’s RocknRolla and the cult TV show The OC.
Now, they’re heading out on their anniversary European tour The Subways For Eternity, and releasing a special compilation album When I’m With You on October 17th. The record offers a journey through their two-decade career and includes two brand new songs. Expect to hear fan favorites like Oh Yeah, With You, We Don’t Need Money To Have A Good Time, as well as tracks from their latest album Uncertain Joys.
The Subways return to Prague on December 2nd with a show at Lucerna Music Bar. Join them to celebrate two decades of one of the UK’s most essential indie rock bands – it’s going to be loud, wild and full of emotion. Just the way we like it.
