Emmanuel Sonubi
Emmanuel Sonubi, who lives in London, started his career in comedy only a few years ago and quickly grew and gained a reputation as “one to watch”. He regularly performs in live comedy shows and has become one of the most sought after comedians of today. Emmanuel’s successes in recent series of Live at the Apollo, Comedy Centrals Stand-Up UK and ITV2’s Stand-up Sketch Show continue to grow, as does his popularity with audiences around the world.
Funmbi Omotayo
With his friendly and instantly likeable style, Funmbi Omotayo won the Best Newcomer award at the Black Entertainment Comedy Awards. In 2012 he won the prestigious Leicester Square New Act of the Year competition and shortly afterwards he was joint winner of Amused Moose’s Laugh Off Competition. Stories and anecdotes are delivered at a gentle pace by this relative newcomer with warmth and confidence. Funmbi is causing a huge storm in the comedy field with his tales of life in Hackney, his Nigerian roots and hilarious everyday observations.
Sarah Keyworth
Sarah Keyworth is an award-winning stand-up comedian and writer.
Since her first stand-up gig at university, Sarah has quickly become one of the brightest new talents in British comedy.
Her broadcasting career is also on the rise. She has appeared on BBC2’s Live At The Apollo and Mock The Week, Comedy Central UK’s Roast Battle, ITV2’s Stand Up Sketch Show, performed stand-up on BBC Radio 4’s The Now Show and has a number of her own TV and sound ideas in the pipeline with a range of production companies and broadcasters. Sarah has written and presented her own series Are You A Boy Or A Girl for BBC Radio 4 and co-hosted the hit relationship podcast You’ll Do for BBC Sounds.
