When channeled correctly, anger can bring people together. Deathcore band Spite and metalcore band Emmure will demonstrate this when they bring their co-headlining tour to Lucerna Music Bar on February 8, 2027. They will be joined by special guests Mauled and Distant.

The American band Spite formed in 2014 and have since built such a devoted fanbase that they’re known as the Spite Cult. “It’s a term for the connection between us and our fans. They’re rebels, outcasts, and society’s outsiders who stick together,” says frontman Darius Tehrani. Their music balances on the edge of thrash sophistication and personal, deathcore confessions. Their latest album, NEW WORLD KILLER (2025), is their hardest and most terrifying work to date, so we recommend bringing a neck brace to the show!

Emmure have been carrying the torch of heavy music since 2003, so don’t expect any posturing from them. They play honest, mind-blowing metalcore with a touch of death metal, driven by the catchiest grooves from the golden era of nu-metal and radio hits. They’ve toured with stars like Parkway Drive, We Came As Romans, and Five Finger Death Punch. Revolver magazine called them “the most controversial metal band since Limp Bizkit.”
