Asian Dub Foundation is after a sold concert at the festival Rock for Churchill coming back to Prague on the 5th of November. They are changing the festival area for the club atmosphere of the Lucerna Music Bar, where they will present their new album More Signal More Noise. At Rock for Churchill festival we could see, how energetic they still are and that they are capable of getting the energy to each and everyone in the audience. The concert is part of the 20th anniversary concert tour of the Lucerna Music Bar.
The new album More Signal More Noise was released on the 10th of July. “The new album we started to record after a crazy concert in Village Underground. We wake up on Saturday morning and went straight to the Red Bull Studios in London. Few of us missed nearly the beginning of the session.”, laughs the guitarist Steve Chandra Savale. The new songs were recorded in 3 days and in another 3 days they were mixed. This explains the hectic, but concentrated chaotic atmosphere on the album. The band recorded like they were live on stage, no preparing before and everything recorded nearly on first try.
Guitarist Savale explains: “We sound more alive on this album than ever before. We connect things like radical creativity with raw primitivisms, primitive rock’n’roll and modern base music.” Asian Dub Foundation are coming to Prague in their original set up with DR Das (bass), Rocky Singh (drumms), Ghetto Priest (vocals) and with the new member Fluteboxer Lee (flute & beatbox).
Concert Asian Dub Foundation is one of the 20 concerts for the 20th anniversary of the Lucerna Music Bar. During the concert series are also coming: Dub FX, Marina and the Diamonds, Incognito, The Cinematic Orchestra, Jaga Jazzist, Talib Kweli, The Wombats and Dub Pistols. More concert will be announced in the next weeks.
