Who would think of connecting Elvis Presley with Nirvana? But someone did, and a project called Elvana was created, which shows what it would look like if the frontman of a grunge band was the king of rock’n’roll. And it’s a success. Elvana is selling out clubs in England and Germany and heading further afield to Europe.
The British music weekly Kerrang! named Elvana’s project as the best tribute to Nirvana, it’s surprisingly brilliant according to The Guardian and even absolutely epic according to the music magazine NME. Both Elvis Presley and Nirvana are icons of their time and their genres and certainly deserve the tribute. It is surprising that someone decided to pay tribute to them in one project, but on the other hand, why not.
Bold combinations always find their audience in the music scene and the Elvana project has definitely found it. The sold out clubs prove it and so does the fact that the band is touring Europe. Don’t miss this unique show!
