Legendary DJ Krush brings new album in March

After 11 years of silence DJ Krush finally released in October his new album Butterfly Effect. Once again he shows his distinctive style by mixing hip hop, atmospheric sounds, exotic instruments and jazz samples. He will present his new album to the Czech fans on the 3rd of March in the Lucerna Music Bar. This event is part of the concert series Conference.

Butterfly Effect is the first album after 11 years. The album has 11 tracks – six with special features and five are Krush-instrumentals. On the album he worked together with Lebanese singer Yasmine Hamdan, musician Divine Styler from Brooklyn, musician and beat maker Free The Robots from California, South African Crosby “Cross” Bolani, Japanese rapper tha Boss and pianist Takashi Niigaki.

This Japanese DJ is known for his atmospheric instrumental production which incorporates sound elements from nature and extensive use of jazz and soul samples. Aside from being considered one of the pioneers of Japanese hip hop, DJ Krush has established himself as one of the most respected artists and producers in the hip hop industry, both in Japan and abroad. His first album “Krush” was released in 1994 and from this time on he released an unbelievable amount of records. His 6th album “Zen” got the AIFM Award in 2002 for the Best Electronica Album. He is not only a producer for many big names in the music business and making is own remixes, but also did many soundtracks for film, series and advertising.
