A special concert dedicated to Luboš Andršt’s jubilee! The concert will commemorate the guitar giant of the Czech blues-rock and jazz scene Luboš Andršt, who would have turned 75 on 26 July. This musical personality will be remembered by his close bandmates and guitar followers, who will pay tribute to the legacy Luboš Andšt left behind. The gala evening will also include the launch of the album Luboš Andršt Timeline 1971 – 2017, which will be released this June on Supraphon. Fans can look forward to a performance by Peter Lipa & Luboš Andršt Blues Band. The band that broke through in 1984 with the now legendary album Blues from Linden Wood. The role of guitarist in this case will be taken over by Lukáš Martínek. Furthermore, the blues-rock legend Energit will be revived for this occasion and the guitar will be played by the young talent Jiří Rambousek. The highlight of the evening will be Michal Prokop with Framus Five. The band, in which Andršt spent most of his life and recorded, among others, the cult album Město Er, on which he also contributed to the author’s work. The whole evening will be accompanied by Marek Hlavica.
