Tyler The Creator is an alternative rapper of the band Odd Future, songwriter, record producer, musician, graphic designer and music video director from California. The first time he tasted fame was, when The Los Angeles Times mentioned him in an article about “teenage boys in the streets” and a seventeen year old, who loves skateboards, music and fashion. In 2007 he started doing music with Odd Future – with Earl Sweatshirt, Left Brain and Hodgy Beats – in 2010 with success. In the same year he directed for Odd Future the track “French”, after few months it saw a million people. After that he self-released the mixtape “Bastard”; the mixtape was eventually ranked 32nd on Pitchfork Media’s list of the Top Albums of 2010. In the same year he had signed a one-album deal with the label XL Recordings, on which a year later the album Goblin was released. The album was followed 2013 by the album Wolf, with the guests Left Brain and Frank Ocean. Last year he released the album Cherry Bomb, which got public before the official release date. Special guests are Kanye West and Lil Wayne.
Tyler The Creator has sometimes troubles with the laws, but this is not changing the fact, that he is one of the greatest rap stars at the moment. You can see him live on the 6th of July in the Lucerna Music Bar, Prague.
