The V\u00edtkovo Quartet, originally named V\u00edtkovo \u010d\u00e1ste\u010dn\u011b odv\u00e1\u017en\u00e9 rockov\u00e9 kvarteto (V\u00edtkovo Partially Bold Rock Quartet), is a group of\u2014to put it mildly\u2014avant-garde musicians with a colorful history: From the U Hole\u010dk\u016f pub in Chuchle, where the band rehearsed in the 1980s (and where a significant portion of their immortal hits, such as Pra\u017esk\u00fd d\u00e9mon, were created), through the arrival of Ota Pet\u0159ina and Zden\u011bk Jura\u010dka (whose collaboration resulted in the album Veter\u00e1ni studen\u00e9 v\u00e1lky), to today’s lineup. The unforgettable Social Evenings of Friends of the V\u00edtkov Quartet and \u0160tvanice na alkohol (Storming Alcohol), in which we demonstrated our relationship to this scourge of humanity, also entered the public consciousness.Those who have not played with V\u00edtk\u00e1\u010di are as if they did not exist.<\/p>\n
Our ensemble is often supplemented by choir members and strange guests, and you, our listeners, are also an integral part of it. If the ensemble is too tired, you can finish the concert yourselves.<\/p>\n
In 2025, a historic event will take place \u2013 the release of our second studio album, thirty years after the first. And on this occasion, we are setting off on an endless tour called: PER TO DO M\u011a, A\u0164 JE PO MN\u011a (DO IT FOR ME, LET IT BE OVER).<\/p>\n
