Fleret is celebrating again and with good reason. In 2025, it will be 30 years since the release of Fleret’s third album on the Tonus label, entitled Zaf\u00fakan\u00e9. (The eye-catching cover was drawn by Fechtner, a cartoonist from Trnek brnek). It’s varied, diverse, steeped in Wallachian folk roots and yet loses none of its hardness. Of course, it contains the band’s megahit and most played song, Zaf\u00fakan\u00e9, which soon dominated many radio charts, and fans still cannot imagine a single concert without it. But it’s far from the only hit on the album, which is confirmed by another very well played track, “\u010cist\u00e1 jak Vizovice” and others. Another interesting fact is that for the first time on this CD the band invited Jarmila \u0160ul\u00e1kov\u00e1 to sing the song “Doma najlep\u0161\u00ed” and the collaboration was so popular that Jarmila sang with Fleret for the next 17 years.<\/p>\n
Bottom line – from today’s perspective, Zaf\u00fakan\u00e9 is the record that became crucial for Fleret and greatly boosted its popularity. And it already deserves a proper celebration, which is why Fleret decided to organize two birthday concerts. One of them will take place in Lucerna Music Bar in Prague.<\/p>\n
Fleret invited both the singer-songwriter Jindra Kejak, author of the equally famous song Vizovice, and the Zl\u00edn legend AG Flek, with whom he has a great friendship from his folk beginnings. The band AG Flek was founded in 1977 with musicians such as Vlasta Redl, the boys from the current band Buty, Radek Pastr\u0148\u00e1k, Richard Kro\u010dek and Milan Nitra.
