From the deep woods of Elverum, a small city not far a way from Oslo and even closer to Lillehammer, comes young six-piece indie pop band Team Me. It all started out as an accidental success when Marius Hagen and his private, little side project ended up in a Norwegian national radio-battle for new and unsigned bands. Marius quickly had to get a band together\u00a0and Team Me made their live debut in January 2010 at the finals of the contest. Still\u00a0surprised by the attention the band started doing live shows and releasing\u00a0singles, which led into the Team Me EP that was released the winter of 2011 by\u00a0Propeller Recordings to great reviews. The EP peaked at # 92 on the\u00a0American\u00a0CMJ top 200 with a base of solid airplay on different American radio stations. The band played shows at events such as The Great Escape, Club NME in London, Iceland Airwaves and \u00d8yafestival and did several support tours for the The Wombats all across Europe including a sold out show at Hammersmith Apollo in London.<\/p>\n
The bands full-length debut \u2018To The Treetops!\u2019 (March 2012, Propeller Recordings) has been critically acclaimed across the world, as well as being awarded a Norwegian Grammy for \u201cBest Pop Album\u201d.<\/p>\n
